It amazes me that in a time of world recession there are so many nice people out there wanting to give me money or make me rich. Just this morning, a very important person by the name of Eugene Chatfield, Attorney at Law emailed me to let me know that I had inherited a considerable amount of money from a recently deceased philanthropist. All I had to do was send my bank details so he could wire the money to me – how thoughtful. Of course, there was also the very pleasant young man who phoned the other day to offer me some land that is just about to be given planning permission and which will make a killing for me. In fact, between you and me, I am quite dizzy with all the lovely people out there offering so many wonderful things. People have offered to reduce my credit card debt; they have informed me that I have won a spectacular holiday; I have had numerous exiting job offers in extremely exotic locations; somebody even keeps trying to date me via SMS, (she must be short sighted).

Well, I am sure that you will join me in wishing all those people plague and pestilence and a promise that we will be even more vigilant, especially for the more vulnerable members of our family and community.
